Edmund Dantes

Alas, I have finished my book and am forever changed by the story of Edmund Dantes. The Count of Monte Cristo is now officially my favorite book ever. If you've seen the movie, forget it, it doesn't even compare. Don't, no don't be tempted to read the abridged version, just plunge in, be brave and read the unabridged version and let your heart be swept away by the tragic story of Edmund Dantes. It does have a happy ending but not the one I had hoped for and even better than I could imagine. Well, to some extent. There are still questions in my mind and loose ends that I wish he would have tied up for me, oh well... I will just have to spend a sleepless night worrying about those...no I don't want to give the end away. You must read the book!! I am so sad it is over...so sad...so sad.
