So we had a really nice treat this week. Jesse had to do some work here in Monahans and he brought Katie with him. They got here late Monday night. He had to stop in Midland on the way but yesterday Katie and I spent the morning together. I had a garden club workday so I just took her with me. We bought her some work gloves and she had her own little shovel, everyone thought she was delightful. She also helped with Mr. William by pushing him around in the stroller which he loved. Then she spent the afternoon playing with Evan. It was a big surprise for Evan because they weren't supposed to get to stay but things came up that Jesse had to stay and take care of, so she and Maebeth picked Evan up from school. When Grumpa got done with the fire he was called out on, they headed for the ranch. No four wheelers though, drat. They did get to see a new baby calf and that makes Katie happy. Now she is at her Grandma Silvers and Papa's house. They will be going home today, we are soooo sad. We don't get to see any of them nearly enough.
