It's My life and I like it

Maybe I can catch up. I haven't blogged in a while not because I haven't wanted to but because I have just been going 90 to nothing trying to get everything done. First I spent quit a bit of time doing the Sandhills Civic Theater Production Honkey Tonk Angels as the props mistress again. I think I'm getting the hang of it now and I like helping out. It's so important to me because I want some really neat things to be a part of Monahans and these productions could make us stand out in the crowd as being a little artsy. Evelyn is sooo talented. She may be hard to work with sometimes but it's because she actually knows what she is doing where as some people who get offended may not take her direction so well but it's ok, we can get past these things. The ones who really love doing do hang around and do know what her talents are.
Next I said I would have the spring luncheon at my house for the Garden Club. That may not seem like a big deal to some but it is for me. I was not able to take proper care of my yard last fall because of the injury I received to my poor head so my flowers beds were horrible which required a lot of work just to get them back in shape. I wanted to have it on my back porch and the flower beds needed to be just so! I worked my tail off....well not quit but I was exhausted and a nervous wreck by the time it all happened. It turned out to be so great. I loved having everyone there and I'm so glad I did it, thank you Maebeth. Nothing like having company over to make you get busy and get things back in order. But I don't want to do it again anytime soon. Just too stressful for me and I'm getting old and slow. I don't get things done as fast as I used to.
And then there's the whole "both my girls are graduating" thing. We went to Leanne's last weekend to watch her walk the stage and receive her Batchelors which was awesome. I was so proud of her and her family who has supported her all the way through this. This weekend it's Lindsey and her masters, wow way to go girls!
Between all these things are the things that just go on all the time, you know, the store, making candy for Mother's Day, seminary, book clubs, you know just the things I do normally. I also decided to start a veggie garden again. So busy, busy, busy...I will try to post some pictures of all these great and wonderful events in my life but I am having a problem with my computer at home. It is so slow I can't stand it. I don't have time to wait for the silly thing.
